LEGIONELLA

Legionella Risk Assessment

In most residential properties a legionella risk assessment will show that the risk of legionaries decease is low. However under health and safety legislation landlords and managing agents are required to have a legionella risk assessment carried out by a qualified/competent person to prove that they are taking the necessary precautions to protect their tenant.

All of our engineers have completed a legionella and legionaries disease awareness training course and are all qualified to complete the assessment on your behalf. Our engineers complete a report with information on the hot and cold water storage, pipework, taps, toilets, swimming pools and make recommendations/issue quotations where necessary. In the unlikely event that you need a full assessment completed we will refer you to a water treatment specialist.

Smoke & CO Alarm Report

With the new legislation for smoke and CO alarms effective as of 1st October 2015, we now offer smoke and co alarm reports and installation of new alarms where required.

Our report details the make, model, location and functionality of the current alarms in situ. With your permission we will install what is required to meet current legislation and will recommend on anything else that is needed as best practice.

We also include information on EICR/Gas Safety/Boiler Service expiry dates and any additional comments we may have.

All of the alarms we install are optical types and come with a 10 yr sealed battery.
